We'll call it a little beginners luck... I'm still learning a ton. Especially with post processing. I don't know how long a phone and manual dob will hold my attention though... I've already been looking at refractors and the money pit that follows lol
I just started the hobby back in February. I didn't get to see Saturn until just a couple months ago. I know most people are excited about the rings being nearly edge on but I can't wait to see them tilted now lol. Thanks.

I wish there was some sort of special recognition day where they could kill the lights in these cities just for one night. Everyone should be able to get the chance to see a sky filled with stars.

And there is nothing wrong with that. We all go through troubles. In the grand scheme of it all, we're just a tiny blip in a much larger existence. Whatever it is you're going through I hope it works out for the best.
As long as you let your eyes adjust for at least 15 minutes and don't look at your phone or any source of light, there will be plenty more that start to pop out. I live out in the sticks so there's not a lot of light pollution but there are some lights still. I'm amazed each time I spend any amount of time out there. I plan to go out west this year hopefully and spend some time in the middle of nowhere.
Such a surreal feeling... something I'll never forget. Hope to be around for the next one that crosses the states.
I drove from northeast Tennessee to a little town called Success, Arkansas. It was so awesome to see in person!

He literally shot a white guy, who earlier was shouting "Shoot me n*gg*!" repeatedly...at a BLM protest.
He was RUNNING before the 1st shooting and RUNNING before the 2nd shooting. All 3 that were shot were at extremely close range.
