This will sound petty and isn't good for numbers, but I don't really want them. Trump has provided an excess of reasons and opportunities to bail. At this point, I feel like any MAGA that reverses course is doing so because they are no longer benefiting or have become harmed (perceived or actual) from it. If their lack of empathy allowed them to soak in his filth for this long, I cannot recognize them as a decent person. At least not without redeeming themselves somehow.

You continue to suggest I've lied somewhere. Funny how people get butthurt when you attack their character... Listen, I did overreact with the "FU" earlier, and for that, I do apologize. Many of these negative responses had a collective tone of a millionaire telling a homeless person "things are great!", and it put me on a defensive. It took me a while before I saw you did not have this tone. Anyway, believe me, don't believe me. I'm just some ass on the internet.

I was presented with "um actually..." and then further dragged as I responded, explaining with my outlook. The whole point of the original post is essentially "an average of 4.3% increase is obviously not what the typical person experienced." These responses really came off as "hey stupid, you're wrong and therefore your point is null and invalid."

Not sure where you live, but where I am (eastern WA), basics like groceries went up a lot (I want to say 10-20% but I fear putting numbers on it now since I'm getting the "uM aCkTuALly" crowd here for not fact checking my gut estimate based on what I see against the current average of the country). I suppose I could buy a dozen TVs this weekend to bring my overall this year down closer to average.
Oh no, I didn't consider that when just taking my own experiences into account that I should factor in everyone else's experience, sorry. Next time I talk about, say, where I was born, I'll make sure to just average it out to everywhere.

True that. However, there's total inflation averaged over everything (2.7%). Then there is personal inflation that we experience based on what we buy. By my conservative estimation, mine this last year was around 10%
Even if that were true, 4.3% minus inflation of 15%+ is about -10% that we "all" are paying. I swear, these dipshits would rave about how good the lemonade is from trump's toilet if they had access to it.
