It is exactly the same in Australia. Not what is going down in the US at the moment, cos well yeah. But for sure you protest or point out the systematic racism in all parts of Australian society you are called un-Australian

My older brother used to duct tape or tie me to chairs and leave a knife on the floor several metres away. Needless to say we don't talk.
I would be curious to know how many in Trump's orbit shorted the market before "Liberation Day", cos those mofo's would be making out like bandits. Remember ol'Musk has form on stock manipulation.

The Shiny Leaf(Dendrocnide photinophylla) variety is the least painful, the Giant Stinging Tree(Dendrocnide excelsa) is next and the Gympie-Gympie(Dendrocnide photinophylla) is the worst(in my experience). There is another variety (I forgot about as we don't have it):- Atherton Tableland stinger (Dendrocnide cordata) supposed to be worse then the Gympie-Gympie in Far North Queensland.

The stuff you use to remove hair, put it on the affected area and remove the fine stinging neetles.
The toxin is called "gympietide" and is being researched for pain relief. The plant actually has three varieties:- Shiny Leaf Stinging Tree, Gympie-Gympie and Giant Stinging Tree, each with varying degrees of severity. The leaves can still impart toxin once fallen off the tree abs been lying around for days.Red-legged pademelons eat the plant. We have all three varieties on my property and I have been stung by all three. Diluted hydrochloric acid and hair wax is the most effective treatment.

I paid the equivalent price per litre for Gas today in Brisbane(capital city of Queensland, Australia) as you did in the middle of nowhere in Alaska.
I have to say this is genuinely my most favourite thing I have ever seen on here.
