I mediated hurricane claims in Florida a couple of decades ago. Do insurers argue over "wind-driven fire" versus "fire" like they do "wind-driven water" versus "water"? That nonsense kept us busy for years. At least for hurricane claims, it's ideal to have had several live feeds from which to get footage of the damage as it happened. But folks should NOT stick around to film it by hand - dead is forever.
