Close but not true. Due to air resistance the faster you are the more calories you burn at the same distance. The same is true for e.g. cars. If you drive faster you need more gas compared to driving slower the same distance

Nice, keep at it and never give up. I started the same, but 3 years later I, love running and thanks to it, I don't have to restrict my food consumption any more. It takes time but it is worth it. You did an awesome start
