I'm a computer programmer who lives in semi-rural Australia. I like mucking around in Gimp (free photoshop!). Happy to take photoshop requests, if I find them amusing/entertaining!

I presume the fig leaf reference is to classical nude sculptures that would have fig leaves added to cover the genitals during times of conservative leadership, only to have them removed later. The fig leaf doesn't actually censor much, or provide much protection to the wearer.

It's the reverse angle of the above picture, from through the door. The person you can see is the one to the right of door, holding the gun and baton.

No, modern electrical safety sensors are just a single probe. I presume they work by detecting the magnetic field caused by live AC wires?

Izone cameras were the shit! I went to say many raves and made people so happy to have a momento of the night. This was before smart phones had cameras, or they were sorry at best, those cameras were amazing!

I was listening to a podcast talk about this, and there are some scientific theories that this is a likely cause of the formation of the first organic molecules, that would eventually make up life on earth. The intensity of lightning strikes in a concentrated area likely created enough new molecules that they eventually went on to make simple celled life.
