I do science things for a living. I also like making things out of wood. Mostly squarish things, round things can be tricksy without one of those spinny fellas. Note, I now have a spinny boi, but need to practice using it.
The nice part is you don't actually need tool steel, any heavy thing you can put an edge on should really do the trick.
I was gonna say the same thing, how long is that damn black wing eraser?!
Do you have some good review articles/meta studies that cover this? I obviously need to up my chemical history. I know of Pasteur's work (that wasn't my point above) but the history in between when it comes to importance of them in medicine I am lacking on.
Clarity: this is what drove home the importance, not that we didn't know at all that it mattered* we obviously knew that enantiomers existed and behaved differently just the severity was not really common knowledge re medicine
If I'm not mistaken, before the whole thalidomide thing we really didn't have an appreciation for how differently enantiomers can behave in the body.
Not all weirdly shaped districts are a result of gerrymandering. That being said, I do agree with the sentiment.
Depends on the place. A lot of "Sit down" type places won't pre-cut it, the more casual dining/fast-ish food places will cut it in different ways. Some serve sheet pan pizzas which will be cut into squares (common in Rome for instance).
I don't believe the Europe for Wine vs America refers to their quality more the perception of who drinks it more. When you think "boy they drink a ton of wine" I don't think most people run to California mentally. When you say "who drinks more Natty Light", I'm guessing probably America.
I guess the question is if you had 1 year for cursive and presumably 11ish more where you can learn and practice printing during school years why is your printing still bad enough to look like a ransom note :P
Most people I know that only know how to print have less legible writing than people who write in cursive. Not that I really care if people use one or the other but readability is up to each writer rather than the type of writing. Both have positives and negatives, for instance printed signatures on documents look stupid AF and are terrible for security.
Part of the problem is that we usually are exposed to the Mercator projection, which is good for ocean navigation but not for showing true sizes of landmasses. It is set up so that a straight line from one point to another will take you there when you go in that heading in real life even though your path is actually curved across the surface of the globe.
Frankly, no nationality that has been at war is clean. History is just written by the victors and they always make themselves look noble and clean.
Different lengths allow you to have longer references for "flat". Loooong ones are how you get things like doors flat, short ones are used for either small parts or for removing lots of material. Blade shape is another layer of specialization. Most people don't NEED that many, but if you do lots of planing it makes your life easier than using an imperfect tool for the job. The other shapes are for more specialized planing, e.g. shoulder planes, router plane, snub-nosed planes, rabbet planes, etc
Likely they need to start with an incredibly hardy plant then add more variety as it becomes less deserty
Unless you're in the Netherlands, then it's a cheese
Just wait until you hit your early 30s things change fast and you have to be very careful. I'm 6'6" and floated around 190-200 through all my 20s, hit 31 and booooop up to 220 seemingly overnight with almost no change to diet or exercise.
Watch the Philomena Cunk special on Netflix and you will understand. And be a better person, albeit with more questionable knowledge.
For what it's worth, I just switched to this razor from cartridges. Have never nicked myself worse than a cartridge. Razor burn is much less
Common misconception, glass is an amorphous solid. So it is not crystalline, but that doesn't mean it's a thicccquid.
I think you might be thinking of how they emphasized not touching of people, which was because they were still radioactive.
I agree with your point but am stuck on the "As as fuck fuck" musician.
Quebec isn't really a race... and much of the animosity is two-sided. The language laws get people's collars up for sure.
Also related to location, typically live closer to smaller towns/cities which have worse hospitals/Healthcare. Not that racism isn't a part.
Apparently so can light flicks to the ear!
While I agree that we aren't doing enough, we aren't doing nothing either. Societal change is unfortunately a slow, difficult process.
If they're flying against the rotation technically they're stationary and the earth spins under them depending on reference frame.
I would bet most Canadians know quite a bit more than that due to our exposure in both news and media to the US. Vaguely aware level anyway.
