I make and share Jurassic Park HD GIFs, and I collect nudibranch photos.

The best results will always be with using 2 lights while filming/shooting, though, oriented to minimize backscatter. Especially in really dark shots no amount of post-processing will bring back color or light info that wasn't captured to begin with. Your video seems like it has plenty of color info to with with though so I'd love to give it a shot. Shoot me a message with a file share link (Google, Dropbox, etc) of your choice and I'll give it a whirl!

I use Adobe After Effects for video and Adobe Lightroom for photos. I hate their new subscription model but I've invested so much time in learning how to use them that it doesn't feel worth switching to other software at this point. Red filter is a good tool. I've found them most helpful close to the surface where there is still plenty of ambient sunlight. Deeper, the GoPro software does a decent job of color correction even without the red filter, with the right settings.

Amazing! I'm going diving next week and hope I get some great shots like yours! @OP, would you have any interest in me color grading this video for you, to make it look less blue and more like what you saw with your eyes? It's a hobby of mine for dive photo/video.

Beautiful! Where do you get the 3D data to make this?

Both of you missed "grammer" instead of "grammar."

Yeah, I had to think twice about it too. The thing to realize is what's under the trampoline. Ordinarily there's air which can be displaced and compressed relatively easily, compared to the water under this trampoline, which takes a lot more force to displace and is considered (for general purposes) incompressible. So it's like a trampoline with a solid concrete pedestal under it, right up to the bottom surface.

What's the difference? I'm looking up heel lock and all the search results look like runner's loop, at least from what I understand.

My pleasure! Always happy to have a civil conversation with a fellow musician on the interwebs.

So while beatboxers can use conventional circular breathing, the inward sounds are what Wing is using in this video, and those sounds are not conventional circular breathing. Some people conflate the terms and call it all circular breathing, but it's not the same as what you'd use as a low brass player. But it's why you're not hearing breath sounds in this particular video even though he is in fact breathing.

and a trained or familiar listener can pick out those inward sounds. Check out inward beatboxing sounds on YouTube - there are tons of great videos and even tutorials if you want to learn!

Beatboxing circular breathing is different from actual (brass/woodwind) circular breathing. For beatboxers, part of it is an illusion by making sounds with inward pressure which also gets a breath through the mouth at the same time, instead of forcing pressure out the mouth while inhaling through the nose. There's all sorts of bass, snare, cymbal, and synth/effects sounds that can be made using the oral muscles while inhaling, so you don't hear a "breath sound," but the beatboxer is breathing,

Whether edited in other ways or not, his breathing is not edited here. He makes sounds while breathing in. 16, 25, 35 seconds, and more beyond that. I beatboxed in college level tournaments. People can definitely sound like this live with the same flow. The tournaments you posted which are partly improvised have more audible breathing as they're less rehearsed. Perfect flow of inward sounds takes a little foresight. Pros incorporate it well even in improv but it's more seamless when rehearsed.

I agree with you about capitalism. Some people will love songs for the tunes regardless of the words though. I couldn't tell you the words to any of my favorite songs. I just hear the tunes, and honestly hear more of the instruments and beats. They could all be gibberish for all I care. So while this songwriter was making a good point, it's still possible for people to enjoy it genuinely without being sheep.

How do you get your supports off so cleanly? Did you sand the surfaces at all or just have awesome support settings?
