Yes, as an alumni of Cornell, suicide rate in architecture & engineering students quite high. Two gorges on campus, makes suicide easy.
No-kill have no choice but to refuse if full. Cats get it worse.. no-kill neuters and dumps cats into streets via failed TNR programs.
I agree. No-kill shelters turn away animals once full, resulting in animal dumping. Euthanasia is better than suffering on streets.

Sadly, this is a common fate for feral and abandoned cats. Spay and neuter your cats and keep your cats indoors, folks.

It's a simple recessive trait called piebaldism. The animal will look this way for its entire life. I have two of these. :-)

Normally the titanium vanes are spinning so fast they are invisible in photos. You can see the vanes here, so they're not free spinning.

The squirrels one isn't always true. Squirrels will *steal* the babies of others as a dominance display. Captive rats do this too.
