International man of many interests and randomness, currently residing in Sweden.

Russia has a two passport system. One national passport and one international. Thus many native Russian citizens have two Russian passports.

Human nature remains largely unchanged since the beginning. We've just made more advanced toys to illude ourselves that we changed.

Life was hard, only if measuring by today's standards. For the people living those times, it was the normal, and they found a way through it

...and anything sexual happened only as part of fertility rituals, AMIRITE?!?!

People here are vicariously living their resistance fantasies, without any consequences or thoughts about the hardships of war.

War sure is hell. But war is also business. We may not like it, but that's a reality which is unwise to ignore.

With the new economical order established following these events, I assure you, there are lots of winners. Neither of them humanitarian tho.

Thank you. Oh and I'm not disagreeing about the voter suppression part, it definitely is. Asking because I'm curious about the extent of it.

Some said yes, some said no. Thus, confusion. How many people have them, or the cost, is irrelevant. That's why the statement was facetious.

But the question remains, is a driver's licence not considered a valid form of ID for various societal purposes in the US?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But is it not considered a valid form of ID, as its widespread utility makes it the next best thing for verification, after a passport?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

No idea what it costs in the US, but considering most of the country is built for needing a car, I'm fairly certain is cheaper than in EU.

We use ID to verify identity/keep from voting multiple times, but there's no requirement to pre-register as a voter.

But pretty much everyone and their dog in the US has a driver's licence, is that not considered a valid form of identification?

The unpopular "plot twist" is that Russia has more to lose, than gain, by having a power plant destroyed or melt down.

Right now, SW, but due to change NW - towards Belarus and Moscow - next week.

... I'm sure this can somehow be turned to a fictional story of multidimensional beings.

So...eh...they're the eyeballs of space?

Surely there are enough conspiracy theorists in the modern world whose reaction would have the same effect, or better?

What the hell is happening, I had to scroll really far down to find tradition. :o

IIRC, murder implies (and needs to prove) premeditation and intent to kill. As the victim is still alive, it is extremely unlikely to prove.

Explosion was outside. Inside was more like a garlic press, but with human. Body ripped apart by being pushed through a smaller hole.

Curating a collection of favourites to share with people outside of the Imgur circle. Pretty much replaced TV with Imgur at this point.

Technically correct is the best kind of correct, aye?

If we blame the world for our feelings, we'll remain stuck in those feelings. Moving on is only possible when taking responsibility for them

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Technically correct, but we all also know that in the court of public opinion "allegedly" doesn't really matter. Only outrage counts.

Can confirm. It's MDMA and chill/coze, not MDMA and dance.

...and the war is basically a distraction of public attention. Bread and theatre, as the Romans said.
