Our only hope is to keep hospitals functional and most people, red or blue, aren't looking out for medical people. It's lip service at best.
Management is still worried about profits first and strong-arming unions. And hospital workers are too stressed to even defend against it.
There are rarely any care partners, there are no safe eating areas, there's no mental health support for staff. It's insanity.
And it seems like this hospital is well off. My local hospital is understaffed every day, and management is still cracking down on overtime.
