Despite the low unemployment rate there is still a lot of applicants so companies always have lots of options.

Unemployment is just the number of people who are receiving checks. If you are jobless Long enough you stop being counted as unemployed.
I know people who struggle to get minimum wage jobs to give them more than 30 hours a week, and have to get multiple jobs to afford basics.
unfortunately the upward movement of the american dream is easier to obtain in most other 1st world countries.
we cant, all the stores are sold out and so is amazon as of this morning
how about a year? i bought 8$ of toilet paper 4 months ago and i have half a roll left.
my friends kid asked us the other day, "why do you 'hang up' a phone?"
this is pretty great, but doesn't work for something like school or book clubs that force a time-frame for reading.

agreed, im working on saving 80k to put down as a 20% hopefully in a few years.
Personally I'd argue 20%
$20k savings to put down on a house is impossible for a lot of people to achieve.
