“I am so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis.”

I have posted on FB, pawboost, nextdoor and local subreddits, so far, nothing.

I have. Not chipped, no collar, no tattoo. No one has seen him around or posted about him. I am looking for his original family if possible

Do you know owls and barn owls are considered different species? In France they are, hiboux (owls) and chouettes (barn owls).

Definitely not this

I wish I was more helpful. I know nothing about birds but am trying to learn.

Couldn't say. These are the owlets right? The colors seem right, if they are adults the color is not dark enough. Let me see if I have a pic

Then definitely not a screecher. They were mostly gray and huge. The chick was light beige and (a little) black and fluffy as hell

I want to say eastern screech but I really am not sure. They were definitely bigger and goofier than I expected

I had never seen an owl before moving to the US. I live in TX now and a couple of them nested outside my office. Very little work was done

It looks great! I'm getting the new tank today and will stop by petco to see if they have one or similar one. Thank you :)

I'm getting a new tank for my betta this week - am I supposed to do something similar? Will putting him in the new one right away hurt him?

That driftwood is great! Where can I get one or similar one? Do plants take to it easily? I'd love to switch to live plants for my new tank

How do you clean the tank once you get fish in? I would love to get a tank like this but it's really intimidating and idk where to start

Hospital tank for 20 days with daily water changes. Then 1/2 water changes for 2 weeks then he stabilized. His fins are still growing though

So brutal yet so accurate

Thanks for walking me through it. I wouldn't have known what to do.

Thank you so, so much for helping me save him

He has also become an aggressive little shit heat with waaay too much attitude which I take as a good sign. Thank you for following up

I fasted him for a day and he seems better. He is pooping, eating twice a day but a little less and nesting.

He is not pooping though. I am worried he's not eating enough but I feed him twice a day. What should I do?

I added a new filter and heater he seems to be doing well. Made a bunch of bubbles, I think that's good news. He eats better and swims more

To recap: daily changes of water for 14 days then weekly 80-90% changes. I will post updates when he feels better. Thanks again!!!

He ate again today and he was doing zoomies in the tank this morning. Got new filters and heater, will change water again today.
