I always advocate buying cheaper whiskeys for mixed drinks anyway and sipping the more expensive bottles.
Someone once told me (quite some time ago) that depending on the Kirkland liquor you're drinking it shares its distiller/distributor with name-brand liquors. I know the Scotch is distilled by Alexander Murray and Company - which if (Big if) it is that would mean what I hear is correct and its distilled in Caol Ila, which would share a distillery with Johnny Walker.
I keep seeing people who are super passionate about ice cream open up places and every time I check the location it is in California.
It was definitely for the drivers protection and best interest.
Having also lost my brother a few years back, I come back to this comment to remember.
