It was simply not a factor I was remotely aware of. People died, ceilings collapsed, water was out for days. This was far beyond high bills.
I hear you, I do. But I didn’t know generators could just “choose” not to winterize. My expectations of TX GOP were low, but holy shit.
Understood. Not too happy with them myself...
If my car has a mfg. defect that kills me, buying the car made it my “choice” even tho I had no say in the process that allowed the defect?
Thank you. I didn’t vote for these motherfuckers.
The fact that generators “self regulated” (hah) & chose not to winterize to save $ was not known by the general public. Complete shit show.
I didn’t want it. I didn’t have a choice, & didn’t vote for those who made those choices. I’m still stuck with a bill for almost 5k.
And what wasn’t will be sent to collections.
My bill was $4,954.96 for just 871 kWh. Lost power for ~2 days. I can’t afford bootstraps. I’m worried about me.
Look at those cute paws!
Same!
I feel this statement.

Knew a dude who had an intestinal blockage from swallowing cherry pits - had to have surgery.
Perfect gif!
I love the way you phrased it. “Dangerously comfortable levels of solitude.” #mood
Add a bit of real mayo and put it all on a butter croissant warmed for ~10 sec in the microwave for the Best Sandwich Ever. Mmmmmmmmm

Done. I’d love to see how many responses you received!
Genuinely curious - Which candidate are you referring to?
Favorited! Thanks for the tip!

Good advice, but be careful of policies that prohibit you from forwarding company emails to personal accounts. Best to print hard copies.
Oh man, you have imparted dangerous knowledge. +1
Under ACA, pre-existing conditions are a non-issue for coverage. But good luck if GOP manages to repeal ACA, which they’re trying to do.
