Yeah, me too! Started ~2-3 days ago. Every few hours I get a new one from a new number.
I now see all the other posts that beat me to the punch!
A factor to consider is inflation. Gas is cheaper now than it was in 2008. $4.11 in 2008 is $5.52 today.
Dark tranquility, in flames, trivium, tool, lacuna coil, ameranthe. Few that come to mind.
I still own one of these. Makes taking the PC on a plane a bit easier.

O, and this was after renting from them monday-thursday for nearly a year straight. They don't seem to care about customers much.
Doesn't cut it.. I was told on the phone I was SOL. I've since talked many colleagues into switching from Avis to national. 2/2
Avis is awful. They have a separate we site where you must opt in to have your rentals count towards free rentals. Just being a member.. 1/2
