Yeh sorry for being a killjoy. It was a good one.
Well, no, since finnish and swedish peasentry mingled so much together, having equal rights, and living in proximity together for a century or two, Saunas/Bastus used to be really common in both countries.Like Gävle and north had a "Bastu" in a lot of households, and almost every school has a sauna.Gods I miss snowbathing during school and retreating to the sauna.
Well the Christmas holiday but no the 25th specifically. The christians assigned the holiday on the 25th to coincide with some lent period, but I know jack about lent, only gathered it's akin to christian ramadan.Think the midwinter solstice celebrations started around the 15th and people would feast so hard you had leftover for 12 nights after, or something like that. A lot of households here in sweden still do the leftover part with yuletables. (And we celebrate the 24th rather than the25th)
Yup, been avoiding all of the shit social media like Instagram/Facebook/And that instagram lookalike that photographs yourself. However, Facebook has gone into an utter AI shithole since I still check if relatives message me.
Yeah, that's why I said people believe and not Tolkien believed :p
Wasn't Goldberry the spirit of water? and I believe Tom is the essence of nature yeah, an allegory to Tolkien's love for the Oxford countryside is what i've seen a lot of people believe haha
Isn't it literally written that Tom existed where Eru created Middle earth, before he created middle earth?
Yup. The reason why Skyrim fell flat on it's face for me was because it had a worse story than Morrowind, which is of itself not a brilliant piece of writing but at least more digestable.Strategy games need to focus on Balance as a category as much as Gameplay, and then first after that is story, graphics are optional.
The vibe was to face Zariel alone, she really didn't expect you to go there with her, it's also her only good ending, but that's spoilers.
Karlach didn't want to go back to Avernus to be Zariel's slave, she doesn't mind going to Avernus if it's with you instead of with Zariel, especially since you're kicking ass and finding a cure.
At least it's hinted at finding a cure now.
In D&D it's kinda possible, expensive, but you can buy spells, curses or even potions depending on the setting or DM that will let you change sex, it's why most writings of D&D doesn't treat sexuality like a concept, exactly.Think Ed Greenwood himself said that somewhere about the Forgotten Realms at least.
Is there a swastika that I missed? just so people aren't misplacing the antioch or georgian flag with the german iron cross
Verbal contracts are still much a thing in parts of the west, here in Sweden they can be legally viable.
Except we know that Trump was sent to strongarm Ukraine to NOT apply to join the EU after Euromaidan, the event that happened because of Putin's corruption and grips in Ukraine.
Thor moment
Nah man, don't try to demonize the critique, 4e had a lot of problems where it was turned more into a videogame than roleplaying game, which is what sank it with the playerbase.5e just made the game more approachable, but 4e tried to gain an entirely new fanbase.Pathfinder is literally the 3.5e retread.
Yeah but Bethesda won't add that, they barely have any reactivity in their games. For a large portion of the Skyrim fans, they won't play the game without mods. They've really fallen off in innovation since Morrowind/Oblivion, with Skyrim's only innovation being graphics, and that came with dumbed down gameplay. It really shows how much they've stagnated with BG3 releasing the same year as Starfield, where an NPC will threaten to kill you in Starfield, yet you can't shoot them lmao but not bg3.
Stalin's counterrevolution wasn't propaganda spread by the fascists though. The iron curtain and all the awful behind it should be vilified, not avoided.SSR even made plans to invade Sweden, and nuking Scania (Though as a swede I could joke about that part since they're danish after all)The Soviet Union has been for a very long time an awful place. Don't forget Holodomor, or how the SSR called Ukrainians for Khokhols.
He was 31years old in his original wolverine movie, looking as bulk as he could while cutting :) Supposedly after that he turned to vascular steroids. Some people can't do bodybuildings, because it's a matter of genetics.
Well nah, not anyone. Hugh Jackman needed vascular steroids to look like he does as Wolverine, because cutting made him lose too many muscles. Some people defo juice to look the way they do, primarily because of genetics.
I thought the message was something along the lines of "There's good in everyone"At least with Luke's whole "If I can be as bad as my father, he can be as good as me" switch on saving Vader.
Nono, it'¨s not that pasta and sauce clash, it's that they both individually are textures not great for picky eaters. Me and some others I know had a giant problem with sauce till adulthood, and some refuse to eat pasta still :)
I'm not sure if I agree on the middle option, isn't pasta and sauce a texture that picky eaters don't agree with a lot of the time?
People don't love it because they hate Russian, even with their extremely high neonazi population, People love it because of the irony with the Russian propaganda machine trying to tell people that Donbass/Luhansk should belong to Russia.
Racism: The inability or refusal to recognize the rights, needs, dignity or value of people of particular races or geographical origin.Depending on which dictionary you're going for, you might just have a very un-nuaned view on Racism. People should start using the word Xenophobia so people don't try to put down racism by saying you need institutional power for it.
But, why?
