Doesn't actually own a white van, might be evil though, definitely a man. Milks cows in exchange for money.

Have even seen them going after heifers and steers. This year they seem to be a lot more present around the farm. Must be the draught.

No, a fee for being hooked up as a backup power source. Being connected to the grid isn't free, even if you don't use any power from it.

Because they don't use much the fee per kwh might not cover the maintenance for the grid. Just being hooked up to the grid isn't free.

Have fun paying 10x what it's actually worth. I gave up looking here in Canada.

Yeah, don't buy a new JD they are a bitch to deal with. Decent tractors, but when it breaks it's high bills or shady shit

Yes they do. Modern tractors come with software to live track your fleet, and remote shutt off (in case of theft) is part of that.

Most snorkels arn't even designed for water crossings. But more for providing clean air in dusty conditions.

It's an old Komatsu, it probably won't break.

Stumbled across a lego Audi Quattro the other day. Bought it without hesitation. Haven't bought lego in years. Made me really happy.

I have a waterproof case with essentials (clothes, tools, towstrap etc.) In my truck. Not only protects the stuff but also keeps it organize

I pay $550 for a small two bedroom house with a massive (shared) yard. I do live in the middle of nowhere though.

The tractor in the video (Fendt 820 Vario) doesn't actually have any main gears, it uses an oil pump instead. It's more precise.

Modern high end tractors can go 50-60 km/h. A couple brands, like JCB even make 90km/h tractors.

Feeding corn is perfectly safe, when properly balanced with other feed.

And even when you eventually need a weapon you don't have to kill with it.

Organic doesn't automatically mean better animal welfare.

Problem with that is a lot of rules are written by people who know fuck all about farming. Resulting in the exact opposite.

There is a company that actually makes conversion kits for these things. Forgot the name though.

I landed on monday They also visually check you and hand you a paper with clear instructions. There is not much more they can reasonably do.

As a farmer I tried taking my work home, but the cows don't fit in my living room.

That's why I wear camo pants and have a bb gun hanging from my shoulder, for that authentic apocalypse feel.

You don't actually have to. For the 3rd gen Range Rovers and Disco's it's recommended but it's easier to just yank the gearbox out.

I prefer eating our own cows over just any beef, because with our cows I know the life they had.
