Sometimes people say things about themselves, and it's not bragging
I'm a MHP who works with victims and abusers. Watching these kids struggle with having power over others, it's given me perspective.
I think it's a societal problem that doesn't get a lot of attention. My motivation for posting all these comments was to spread information.
Sorry to give you a hard time on this. I agree, you are not personally responsible. No one individual has to, or can, fix it on their own.

I agree: Fuck that. It really fucking sucks. Some people learn nothing but pain, and it's hard to change when no one ever believed in you.
I don't mean to excuse the behavior, but give context. My mom was abused too, and she never came close to abusing me. You can do it too =)
In my experience the best way to reform abusers, is to have empathy for them. 2/2
My goal isn't to excuse, it's to give context. If we only hate and reject abusers, they'll just make more abusers. 1/2
PSA: most abusive parents were abused children. Have empathy, understanding, and forgiveness for the enemy.

Some cities have offices that handle out of court divorces. Their goal is to make the process more family friendly.
This. Being separated from parents at a young age ain't too good.

I guess just as with young humans, it builds self-confidence. The real world will tell them when they're not doing it right.
I knew a girl who did that sometimes. Some brands, the skinny fit looks just as good on women.
I think that's a subjective opinion. Some have different beliefs.
