Has it ever occurred that this ban on politics might actually be a problem? It restricts discoussion to and turns to topic from something that should be an every day rational discussion into a special thing that doesnt get talked about except in explicitly adversarial contexts.I mean it is impossible to avoid politics, it has real consequences whether engagement is active as or passive.
