Well that makes two of us
Explain more please?
I may be wrong but I think those elections got people out voting because of Brexit, I live in the UK and I'm confident Theresa may was not popular, Corbyn was with the younger generations but not with anyone else
The number of members in a party is meaningless, I'd far rather the part had less members and people actually supported them than a bunch of left wing cranks be members of the party and make them unelectable. Tuition fees are free in Scotland and all it hasn't made more poorer people go to university, making them free in the whole of the UK would do nothing to help with cost of living
Theresa may lost the Tory majority in parliament and still managed to hold on for about a year, Boris Johnson was prime minister for ~3 years after the election but was forced to resign because of scandals and lies, both very different scenarios to what would happen if labour win a massive majority
Excellent comment, I'm not a Tory fan but people throw the fascist word around way too much
So bored of this argument, a labour government will change the lives of millions of people for the better in the UK, whether you agreed with corbyns policies and views or not, he was never going to be elected so what his policies would have done mean jack shit
No chance that happens, you don't get rid of the leader that wins a massive majority
Since he ran for leadership we've had the full impact of Brexit, COVID and war in Ukraine, there's no way he could be expected to keep those policies that would cost the public a lot when we have a cost of living crisis, frankly, it's a miracle the party is in an electable form considering the state of was left in by his predecessor
The army sleep under the stars, the navy navigate with the stars, the airforce rate their hotels with stars. Told to me by a former RAF colleague of mine
Do you anything about any of them? What qualifies them as trash for you?
Such bullshit
I've read it plenty of times and I don't understand your point, I'm trying to converse with you to understand it
Okay, I'm sorry I didn't understand what your point was, can tell me again?
Tony Blair was a good leader
How is it not a stretch to say the UK is an authoritarian country when you don't think it is an authoritarian country?
Idk what you mean
Go live in Russia, china, North Korea if you want to see what an authoritarian country is like
Yeah that's bad, shouldn't happen and a future government will repeal or change the law, the reason, because we'll be able to vote out the Tories and replace them. That wouldn't happen in an authoritarian or fascist country
Authoritarian is a very big stretch as well
Yeah that's the only thing fife has going for it ?
Gordon brown is revered around the world for the response the financial crash
My new work computer has windows 11 unfortunately and it's a dumpster fire, don't know how they fucked it this bad
CZJ is very nice to look at though
Michael J Fox
Holocaust deniers occupy a weird space where they think it didn't happen but they wish it did
Should watch the UK office to see some real cringe
The whole point of sunny is that they are all horrible people, and if you remember that it's funny lol
