I'm really sorry that you're struggling. But I want you to know this stranger is super proud of you for working so hard to treat yourself more gently. I used to struggle a lot with self-harm in high school. Every time you try though, you get closer and closer to succeeding for good. Keep taking things a day at a time. The good things in life are often hard to fight for. But you are worth it. <3

Anyone, no matter how old they are, can struggle with phobias. They are absolutely horrendous to deal with, but anyone who struggles with one or more are still valid. I wish I could say something more to concretely help, but you're doing everything right. I'm thinking of you and wishing you a smooth procedure/recovery!

I hate that you're going through all this. I've absolutely fallen apart this past year due to my PTSD and depression and I would not wish this upon my worst enemy. I want you to know that your post has brought me some joy and I can't thank you enough. It sucks so goddamn bad, but it's okay to struggle. Focus on you as best as you can, at whatever pace you can. Even just having a drink of water is a victory. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that things get easier for you soon <3
I understand this, though in my case it's due to trauma and potentially undiagnosed health issues. I wish I could say or do something more to actually help, but I'm sorry you deal with this.
I'm glad you filed a complaint, as hard as it was. As a student, the majority of your learning experience and success is put into the hands of the instructor, and he failed to take his responsibilities seriously. I'm sorry this happened and I hope that the Dean can help fix things for you all. Wishing you the best of luck!
