For instance, I work in a hospital and everyone gets paid twice a month. Even nurses making $40/hr.
I'm not sure where you got that information but in my experience you can have higher paying jobs pay hourly and lower end jobs pay salary.

I've had three shoulder surgeries with month of immobilization. Thought ankle surgery would be a breeze. Nope. Sucks in all new ways.
I tore a tendon in my ankle and was fine until I had surgery. Not allowed to touch my foot to the floor. Wiping is awkward
Just had ankle surgery. Can confirm it's awkward. Sitting or standing. I don't understand why it's harder while sitting, it just is.
As someone who is new to a wheelchair, this made me laugh too hard.

Then when I get through, there is an automated system with prompts which also take forever to get through. With the anxiety of an emergency.
Me too. Mostly that something is happening and I need to call 911, but my phone glitches and it takes forever to finally get it right.

I used to have nightmares as a kid about toilets being in random rooms and really having to go, only there were crowds in every toilet room!
