I think the last 80 times this was posted someone said something about how this behavior is actually negative and can lead to bad habits

Where I work, chip is for credit only, so if your card can do both and you chip first the machine will freak out and send you into a (1/2)
Idk about that, but typically you sign as proof of your compliance to a charge in case you refute the charge for some reason

You can tell who hasn't worked these types of jobs by their lack of knowledge/optimism about the field. Fairly easily.

Yeah but our GDP per capita has increased since Reagan's time, so looking at the percentage increase is probably more accure. Also inflation
