'caring for' people apparently means shutting people out of public life, does it?

I don't care about the highlighting much, but a form of subtitle that mixes all words from all speakers into a single stream ought to be a crime.

You'd probably only change trains once or twice, but they'd spend a lot of time either stopped or crawling along due to random infrastructure hiccups or, more often, freight trains.

1. Air's thick, and gets thicker the faster you go, so the speeds you need to start at to actually get useful altitude get crazy high.
2. Even without air, shooting anything from the ground will hit the ground again.
Rocket launches go up just enough to get out of the thickest air, then turn to the side to get speed. If you aim up you still need a lot of rocket to get up to speed. If you aim sideways you need less rocket but need even more gun to get through the extra air. The math is mean.

my long-term D&D(and other games) group chat once had a 6:2 m:f gender balance. a decade later and it's now 3:5. Nobody his joined or left. Funny how things work out.

I think this inverts cause and effect to a degree. Everyone is lonely. For white dudes, leftist voices can often feel unfairly accusatory. There's nuance deeper down, but 'if you are a white male you, personally, are shit and the problem' is an easy impression to get. Meanwhile these chuds put out the message 'that isn't the problem, your the best, be that more!'. I find it easy to imagine (speaking as a lefty white former male) why that message draws in so many disaffected guys.

The questions don't feel judgemental to me, but they do feel weird in a different way. I'm assuming earnest interest on your part so I mean this as neutrally as possible, but the questions feel like they're pointing to an unspoken "A transwoman with a transman is really just a man with a woman" assumption and fishing for confirmation.
It might be useful to examine what about this arrangement leads you to those questions, and why you expect the answers to matter?

Trans people do often socialize with other trans people, supporting each other in various ways, so the odds of a trans person having a trans partner is probably higher than random chance. And anecdotally, many trans people seem to manage to gather in social circles with each other even before realizing they are trans, and romances can survive through one or both people transitioning.

Yes, they did their job. Asking questions about why a residence which was presumably not filled with dozens of people wants 31 cheeseburgers? Someone maybe should have, but that's not their job. Hence the title and tweet text.

Yeah, maybe. But just because two situations are similar doesn't mean they have to be treated identically, so this isn't really a relevant question imo.
