Well im a big geek with a beard. Going to college for a degree in psychology. Love video games (twitch.tv/excellentadventure https://www.youtube.com/user/ryboutnowfunksoubrov) art, reading, movies, TV shows and traveling when I can. Im simple really, just taking everything in slowly and enjoying life. Will try anything once and be honest about what i think. Ive always said the Desiderata Describes me best and has before I even knew about it: Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.
Oh that's right, I forgot about that. Guess it being on Game Pass means a lot of people will try it anyway.
That's what I'm thinking too.
WaW was peak, it was gritty, brutal, unforgettable. BO1 was the last time they nailed the formula, though I’ll admit I still enjoyed Blops 2 a bit
Thanks a ton for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Getting honest thoughts without shoving ads in people’s faces is tough, so this means a lot. I don’t have an editor and formatting for KDP was a pain, so I know it’s rough in spots. Really glad you liked the opening chapter though!
Lolol
Fascinating and actually sounds familiar 🤔 I think I might’ve read that one years ago. I believe I heard that story about the nail before. Gonna have to dig that book back up now, that’s wild.
lolol I’ll never unsee it now. Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
Yeah, I really wanted to make a trip to Detroit and see if anyone there was still familiar with the St. Aubin Street ax murders. I’ve been there a bunch growing up, and nobody I ever talked to had heard of them, which made it even more intriguing.
But it would’ve taken a longer stay to really dig in. Finding credible sources for some of these stories was tough, especially for anything before 1920. I did manage to track down a few old newspaper clippings though, which felt like striking gold.
That's interesting, I’ll check out Weird NJ and see if they’ve got anything close by.
When I was researching for my book I binged so many podcasts my feed looked like I was either solving crimes or committing them 😂
😍 adorable
Always boop snoots around here
I'll ask them but they're having a weekly meeting
Oh wow, you're an OG for rocking that Performa. That's wild you got OS 8.1 to work on it—props for that. I’ve always liked how Apple used musicians for some code names.
Yeah, I read up on the third-party dev stuff. Jobs really came back with a vendetta -he wasn't making friends, that's around the same time as the Newton
I remember trying to upgrade my first iMac OS with the clear blue back and completely destroying it 😂. Upgrading was way easier back then with RAM just popping in too.
Lol, you're totally right, it’s definitely MacOS now.
I started using Macs back when the iMacs were all the rage, i still remember Leopard being my first real experience with them. I missed out on the classic OS days like 8.1, but I’ve heard a lot about their impact.Honestly I kinda Got a soft spot for Snow Leopard -super stable and clean. And my laptop in college had it
Always cool hearing from folks who go way back with Apple—got a favorite feature from the old days?
Thank you, yeah I couldn't save Felix but maybe by posting this in a strange way she can help someone else🥺 thank you again
I sure hope so, love that username btw
I sure hope so l, thank you😊
A lesson learned too late I'm afraid but a lesson I will scream from the top of my lungs from now on.
Happens Everytime I'm with them so I know the feline
Same I never have any issues with my ev. Fast and reliable never understood the people defending ice engines
Personally I bought a Nissan leaf for cheap and love it and drive it daily. Wish it had more distance but 100 miles is good enough for city
