But the problem with that is we need to address our consumption immediately, this technology requires time and long term planning.
I could go on, introducing nuclear isn't the solution, you'd get an effect called the "Jevons Paradox" anyway.
smarter and green city planing, less livestock, solar, finding a way to "save and store" renewable energy, less personal vehicles...
