Apparently there's another author who's been suing rowling for ripping off her books (written in the 70s) to make Harry Potter.
basically our brains have trouble at first differentiating people who are different from us, but over time and exposure they adjust.
apparently there's a neurological reason for this, tied to how our brains are calibrated to read the faces of people within our own 'group'.
