Also no claims of cheating or fraud. He would never admit to losing fair and square.

I can't get past the beret flash being over the right eye. I can't stop staring at it. Its so wrong.

First guy looks like he's familiar with olympic lifting. Almost a split snatch in form.

Captive sea lions are prone to a few different eye conditions (cataracts, dry eye, etc). Looks like they are conditioning this guy to accept the eye drops in case he needs them in the future.

James SA Corey has a new release (added it to the comments as well) - Mercy of the Gods. Not an Expanse novel but also amazing. Merry Christmas.

Mercy of the Gods - James SA Corey (way too many comments to read through to see if this has already been mentioned.)

Sorry, I have seen on multiple occasions what dogs can do to small children when they are uncomfortable. Helping others understand the warning signs might save a child from getting injured, disfigured, or killed.

Yawning, lip licking, ears back, whale eyes. As cute as this is, the poor dog is uncomfortable in this situation.

No, but laying on the ground doesn't mean respiratory distress. Dogs lay on the ground for lots of reasons. Like resting. Inspiratory dyspnea has few causes, most common of which would be reverse sneezing. Any other more serious cause would be less dramatic and the dog would likely be in sternal recumbency to try to maximize air flow.

Looks like the dog is reverse sneezing. Not a cause for concern.

My parents live in Alabama and one brave house in the neighborhood has always had different liberal signs in their yard. Last time they went back they were gone with a single new sign that said "GIVE MY SIGNS BACK".

This is a bailey chair for dogs with megaesophagus, a condition where the esophagus is massively dilated and can't contract normally. Gravity helps move the food into the stomach and prevents regurgitation of food and aspiration pneumonia. Dogs can do really well with these chairs!

One of my favorite types of nigiri is corn mayo. Never found it in the US but common in Japan and delicious.

Looks like a hypermetric gait. Assuming he's a stray or free roaming dog, I'd guess it's probably from a viral infection in utero or as a neonate causing cerebellar hyperplasia. He looks pretty good from a distance otherwise; no signs of pain. Laugh away.

I assumed it was a low key advertisement for Dunkin Donuts. Who stacks donut boxes that way?

My folks live in Alabama, one set of neighbors (my heroes) always have progressive lawn signs on display. Last time I visited they had a few new ones and another sign that said "Please give my signs back."

Especially a macaque. They can carry B virus which can cause fatal encephalitis in humans.

This is called Roman nose and is usually caused by a fungal infection (Cryptococcus). I do hope it was actually a bug bite, or that someone took the kitty to a vet.

Getting around paywall: sci-hub.se. All you need is the article's DOI. Reduced my interlibrary loans by 95% when I found this.

I snorted when I saw it.

If he can't urinate at all he needs to get to a vet ASAP, Monday is too long to wait. Good luck OP, hope your kitty pulls through.

Used to fly ANA a couple times a month. Wondeful experience every time. And I miss their lovely boarding music.
