Poop.

#46 that’s so fucking jaded. People ask because they are curious. I have friends who do all kinds of crazy shit, write copy for special edition Mattel toys, pediatric anesthesiologist, etc. It’s interesting to ask questions about their work because mine is boring to me and vice versa.

My grandfather used to play this song. He couldn’t read music. He’d sit next to a little tape player and rewind it over and over again to learn songs. Students from Missouri University visited him to record his style of fiddle that has since died with him and a couple others.

I remember the first terabyte drive I saw, in like 06/07 was the size of a shoe box. My first 1 gig mp3 player (not iPod) was the size of a small paperback book. That was like 04.

You have to be super on the nose on LI. There are too many actual crazy people on there to tell otherwise.

There’s a new doc series on Netflix about it. Jim Jones’ son was one of the survivors because he happened to be at a house they had in town when everything went down. He made a statement that the “drinking the kool aid” joke is insulting because it wasn’t really a mass suicide, more like mass murder. By the time it all happened a bunch of the followers were being kept against there against their will.

It’s also not true that all of them, or even a majority of them, drank it willingly or at all. Many were found shot by crossbows or who were obviously threatened to drink it or they’d be killed anyway. A bunch escaped into the woods.

I’m old enough to remember when Digg tried to monetize and everyone quit and went to Reddit. That was like 2007 maybe?

#11 it’s 3.1 miles. I know that because 6.2 miles = 10k is one of the useless pieces of knowledge I left the army with.

This is the point. Transphobia is about controlling cis women. Every time they say “mEn DoNt bElOng in wOmEnS sports!” You should ask how they will enforce it. Checking the genitalia isn’t enough. Hormone tests aren’t enough. And they, the people of “personal freedom” are ok testing for both. Because you have to be dainty to play women’s sports. You can’t possibly hang with the men. The US women’s rugby team could probably beat the men’s. They should tell us how they will enforce their rules.

Literally no one is being forced to circumcise their children in the US.

I still have a copy of “The Sporting News” with that pic of Hull and Gretzky on the cover.

I was 20 and I distinctly remember leaving the theater with friends and we were all like “we need to go there and see it for real!”

#48 that’s Brett Hull in the pic with the great one, during the five minutes Gretzky played for my beloved Blues.

Yeah, I wrestled in high school and did grappling sports and rugby as an adult, but my real motivation in the gym was always how I looked. Now I’m overweight and starting to get back into it and my only motivation is being able to carry my kids for as long as possible. I saw some quote about “one day you’ll pick up your kid for the last time and not realize it.” I’m going to pick up my kids when they are adults.

I’ve lived in and around DC for 25 years. This is one of the less egregious stories of gentrification.

lol you’re being downvoted and the article literally says “The company says that their vending machines have "built-in AI technology, card scanning capability and facial recognition software."
