I have a close friend whose mom died in the Pentagon on 9/11. I get that people will make jokes about anything, but after seeing how it affected his entire life and upbringing, all because some bats hit crazy Arabs decided to crash some planes for religious reasons, I can't bring myself to joke about it. Maybe it only affected a few thousand people, but it *really* affected those people, and making light of it just seems like kicking someone when they're down.
