Sorry for calling you an American. I meant no disrespect, just tried to funny.But I'm Norwegian and our houses/apartments are built to last, at least the older ones. And there is sooooo many restrictions on how and what you can build here because we can't have flimsy buildings in our climate. Which I guess you can relate to being a northerner yourself. Guess the easiest for an animal to dig through here are probably the doors. And I can totally see a determined animal getting through there.

Sugar, milk, heavy cream, a vanilla rod,in a kettle, boil it up so the suger dissolved. Let it cool below 50c add gelatin. Strain it and put in what you want to serve in. And let it cool.
