I was in Amsterdam on a stag do (bachelor). We rented bikes and I got a tandem cause my brother is near blind. We locked the bikes together and couldn’t get most of them out later as someone went off with the key. Four of us cycled home from the club on the tandem - me steering from the crossbar, blind brother on the second crossbar, and two others pedalling. I misjudged a turn and we crashed into a roadworks barrier. Some passers by checked on us but we were laughing too much to say we were ok!

I used to work at concerts in a small ex-ballroom in Dublin. Use to get posters from all kinds of rock and metal gigs with the European tour dates. Metallica, Nirvana, Ozzy, Anthrax…

I’m currently I’m on a mini-tour in Italy. Started on Milan, 1 hour train to Bologna for a few days, then 1 hour train to Verona and Lake Garda. It’s fantastic.

Ireland is at about 40%, mostly wind. About time our Wild Atlantic Way paid off!
