No. That’s ridic. Literally today, I paid a plumber $750 to repair a water line in the yard that was leaking from age. Last year, some mystery prob happened (likely due to tenant negligence) which caused me to pay around $2000 to remediate water damage, replace drywall, and carpet. 2 months ago I paid $2200 to rebuild tje sinking back porch. I charge more because I have to cover all of these costs. Home ownership isn’t just a mortgage payment.
That’s difficult for most landlords. I rent out my old house but I still pay $1700/mo mortgage so I need rent from my tenant every month.
