IIRC Drake Anthony, whose laser the video shows, is a licensed chemist and has enough background in lasers and high voltage electrical equipment to do all of his stuff safely. He also lives like, deep deep in the woods.
as in a 120mm computer fan? hard to imagine one of those having enough airflow for a large filter.

taking SpaceX public is another foolish attempt to further increase his net worth numbers at the cost of a solidly performing company. It's gonna be the same story, with a stock price entirely unfitting of the company's actual value.
do the larger parts on a well-tuned .6mm printer and go super detailed on the small part.+1 to being jealous of toolchangers. My little multiplexer setup works too well for me to justify an upgrade...

it's sensible to have safeties. most of my knowledge of them is from reading in r/NCD, which I try not to do often to keep my neurons intact
Indeed, though getting the name plate right might be tricky. I would probably do it as a separate part to minimize color changes in the print (and save filament).

If I remember correctly from reading about them, the drones have a safety on them, a relay or similar, that can prevent the trigger system from going off on the ground then be toggled to active remotely via the radio.
I think it's satire...
