It‘s the moon. The video is most likely taken at a latitude where the sun does not show up during this time of the year at all.

Oh and it’s not all plastic bottles. For example juice bottles mostly aren’t accepted, but most soda bottles are.
It took me a while too to figure out how it works and I still don’t get why they sometimes accept something and sometimes not.
You get like 10-20 cent per bottle. In some supermarkets they have different machines for glass/hard plastic and thin plastic bottles.
‘Em, no? The thinner ones also have “Pfand”, but are just recycled differently (not refilled, just recycled).
It’s def a 1 l plastic one. Common in some EU countries. It’s thick hard plastic, looks kinda like glass. Source: have one here in my fridge

I feel you! People often accuse me of lying because “no way that all has happened to you”. I don’t like to talk about my past anymore.
As a nurse, I disagree. We are obligated to provide safe staffing levels 24/7. A 4 day week would require hiring more to keep that level.
