And this is coming from a guy that was an Xbox user for those exact same reasons. Then I manned up and built my own PC bc I wanted more
No but to claim it's plug and play is a bit dishonest. From what I can tell, the lazy and those without a minute to waste prefer consoles.
It actually takes about 2 hours once the Xbox One is set up to update the system, install game then update said game Source: Worked for Xbox

Yeah my brother almost made that mistake because he didn't know the difference it makes. I showed him a couple games and movies @ 60fps haha
But at the same time, the sharpness like you said less than it'd be on a smaller monitor in regards to fonts mostly but it's not devastating
You kind of have to go out of your way to get a TV that bad though. I use mine from several years back; 60Hz, 1080p and the color seems fine
That was my my brother and I on my 21st birthday. 6 days in Vegas, drunk 5 of those days and can barely remember half of it. Good times
