GPS spoofing is unfortunately more common than you might hope, particularly on Android. I'm in the UK and I've had multiple taxi rides take ages to reach me, as the taxi is 2 minute away when they accept the ride, and then they are magically a couple of miles away 1 minute later.

#13 Above a certain level, people who are good at computer, also become good at both not annoucing they are good at computer, and also good at pretending to not hearing computer problem, or just remembering urgent appointment they need to attend, at a place where there is no way of reaching them.

I sometimes attend my local council meetings. The chairs are not comfortable. There is not currently a rule against lying down amongst the row of chairs.

It's not uncommon to return pictures or correspondence, so that people can be reminded of the memories. Better for you to have them, than for them to be chucked away when those people die, as their kids don't know who the photos are of.

Maybe people in America can start using the term "flat mates" for people who share a flat/apartment and save "room mates" for people who share a room....because the difference is quite large.

We (as a species) also apparently can't explain to other people that "hey, you know this guy is a dumbass, right?".

Part of that assassination and that of Alexander Litvinenko was to send a message. Using a complicated method that could be traced back to the Russians is part of that message.

Looks like a landslide or iceslide from an ice dam being burst. Can't tell if those are rocks or huge chunks of glacier that are being carried along.

While you're right, the thing is, resisting fascism will always have some personal risk.

Having watched the video (not totally recommended) he was dead with a second or two. Even if he was 5 feet from an operating table when he was shot, there was no saving him.
