You're probably recognizing the artist. I'd guess that it might be one of the Xanth books by Piers Anthony or maybe one of the Recluce books
No beans, though, as I recall
All of the Aes Sedai take a magically binding oath to never speak a word that isn't true, so there are a lot of ladies who don't lie.
That's Renarin himself, with Jasnah's Blade through him
Magic kung fu Godfather, basically.
The Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee is another good one (Jade City is the first book--Jade War, the second, comes out in July).
Rachel Aaron's Eli Monpress series and Jay Kristoff's Nevernight Chronicles (incomplete--last book out in September) are good ones
Have you read Lightbringer? I like it a lot better than Night Angel, myself. The final book isn't out yet, but it should be this year.
The Jean le Flambeur series by Hannu Rajaniemi. Starts with The Quantum Thief. Also, A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge.
7-10 is generally considered the slog. 6 can be slow, but it has Dumai's Wells, one of the top fan favorite moments. 10 is slowest for sure.
Awesome job, cuz (this is Daniel)! Can't comment on FB 'cause I got a 24-hr ban for posting anti-Nazi stuff that was construed as pro-Nazi.
A Fire Upon the Deep, Vernor Vinge. The prequel, A Deepness in the Sky, is also good. The sequel... Well, I don't even remember the title.
Centuries after a prophesied hero ended up being a villain who enslaved the world, a team of magic users hatch a plot to overflow his regime
Also, Sanderson got so into writing the series that he went ahead and finished the next book, too. It comes out 1/26/2016.
Well, you're in luck: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0765378558/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=I6FCKXQOMW41&coliid=I1NVLZK6Y9BP3E

I hate it when the bulb burns out on my watch.
I'm super concerned about this too, since this one model has overturned beauty standards and now everyone thinks only fat people are hot.
Seems very fishy to me. The "many, many accusations" come from zero female comedians--only some dudes blabbing to gossip blogs.
Indeed it would. I think this is a dumb idea.

Let's see, there's 2 reddit threads, a Gawker "article," and something on thehollywoodgossip.com. Seems legit.
People upvote your comments (or posts, but this guy is saying that you should have to pass a popularity test before you're allowed that).
I've been a member for almost 2 years and JUST made it to 100 points. If that had been a prerequisite to posting, I would've said screw it.
Now re-read it, with Thor as a Skoal-dippin' redneck.
There's an excerpt out. It's not much, but it is interesting: http://www.second-apocalypse.com/index.php?topic=797.0
Yes! Even if I am slightly bitter that the Unholy Consult is way overdue. That's the second trilogy, The Aspect Emperor, but still...
I've seen enough hentai to know that this should be banned on the new Imgur.
Yeah, I spent a whole lot of my waking hours reading during those 40 days.
Man, I loved the Wheel of Time. I read it twice. In the span of 6 months. Took me 40 days to read it the first time.
