About #1, we never got to see Old Man Sokka or Old Man Aang :(
Maybe, I don't think we have seen a human spirit come back to the real world in the TV-shows or the comics.
We never even got to see Sokka's kids..
It is known that The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of A:TLA, it's not 50-60 years.
That's what I was refering to, he can't get one because he's dead.
And Sokka can't get one in LoK :/
I can't believe the creators did that, everybody else seems to be alive in LOK.
I thought they were dead too, her sentence is a little iffy in that regard. I really hope Sokka isn't dead, my favorite character in TLA.
There's still a possiblity, we can't know exactly what she meant by "gone". Yes, it implies Sokka died but we need more information.

Well, Sokka is only year older than Katara. I am sure he could last as long as Katara could do. But that flashback, they looked dead..
I know about the scene, just not that everyone died of that.
What, really? I havn't heard that story before, where is this confirmed? People that has been bloodbent before has lived.
