Drag Queen in Newcastle UK Instagram: Crystal_Enigma
Had this at the start of the year, the drugs they prescribed me were WILD, but after like 2 weeks I was totally fine
For anyone that wants to know more about her story, they made a film about this called ”Neerja” definitely worth a watch.
I want to see one for ants, I dare someone to try
It’s like if they made a Goonies sequel with aliens, it might be okay but its not what you would expect from Goonies so it doesnt feel right
The problem for me wasn’t that the alien storyline felt unrealistic, as much as the other two were more fantasy but that was more sci-fi
If I remember correctly this was a fashion show from about 10 years ago and was inspired by a performance by Leigh Bowery
You know how some countries have a mandatory military service at around 18 or when you leave school, that but retail for a year or two.
There is still a few misplaced jokes here and there from younger generation, but most of them are respectful and are willing to learn
That old school “man in a dress” style comedy is absolutely dying out, and you’ll pretty much only find it among queens that are 50+ 2/3
I do agree that doing drag while being misogynistic is hollow. But speaking as someone that gets paid to talk about the history of drag 1/?
That’s not to say there aren’t still men doing “look at me I’m so funny because I’m wearing fake boobs” but that is definitely a dying trend
Thats more old school drag. Modern drag queens typically champion women and/or just want to express a very feminine version of themselves
It started really strong for me but sorta flatlined as they tried to add more lore and world building, still gonna watch new episodes though
It’s the same with any live performance/show. It’s totally fine to take the kids to see Wicked, maybe not so fine to show them Avenue Q.
That way I’ll find out if the queen dies, but I also get to closely follow key points of personal interest while looking at various sources
I usually check whats trending on Twitter to see if anything major has happened, then have a little Google for key things Ive been following
Final tip: practise makes perfect. It will take a while for you decide on how arched, how thick, how long etc you want them, so have a play!
Also, don’t feel pressured to get high end expensive stuff especially while learning cheap £1/$1 stuff works fine while starting out
If you can, I’d also recommend going into a makeup store to ask for help with getting the best shade for you
There isn’t one answer for all people, but tweezers, brow pomade and an eyebrow pencil are a good start if you want them shaped and fuller
Seeing this comment has made be very aware that as a 24 year old, I can’t remember the last time I saw someone else under 70 wearing a mask
90% of our food is just boiled or shoved in the oven til it won’t give us food poisoning, and that’s the average British home cooked meal.
As a Brit, this is an offence and untrue statement. We sometimes use salt.
To add to what others have said, it’s not so much the word as much as it is the inflection you’ll need to hear it to see what everyone means
Former UK politician, but yeah just generally she's a dick, too much to put into 140 characters.
That post ruined tiered cakes for me, even small single cakes like this make me paranoid, if ever get married we're having cupcakes
Weak magnets and hard spin means it could go past the first few times, but I think they just spent half of lockdown doing retakes or editing
