Reading Moby Dick gets hella easier when you give yourself permission to skip the obsolete whale-science chapters and just read the plot chapters.
But plus side, I did get to see them take the RE Lee statue out of Lee Circle and give it back its Tivoli Circle name before I left.
I lived in New Orleans post-Katrina and there was STILL a monument to the fucking white supremacists who rioted to stop Reconstruction in 1866.
We absolutely should elevate the standards to which we hold the Democratic Party, but fielding this sort of "both sides" bullshit in an election year when democracy itself is on the line is shameful.
The plus side is the positive response to LD persuaded Paramount to green-light a live-action Trek comedy with Tawny Newsome (hopefully still as Mariner).
