They always talk about you to others like you're a widower and honestly, pity is the worst. Make jokes that makes people uncomfortable, it is so satisfying. You feel kind of an a$$hole but don't worry, NOBODY will tell you anything. Its one of the perks if there's any. My bf told me: if your going through hell, keep going. In other words, never stop. Continue on the path that will let you remember the good and forget the bad. It's cliché but it's true. Love yourself like you loved her.
I went to a therapy group with people that had to go through the same as me and I found a great deal of relief (sadly) seeing people even more damaged than me. It helped me believe in myself as I was stronger than I thought I was at first. It sounds cheap but you have to hang to everything that helps you. Even if it means that people around you are telling you that you've changed or anything, do whatever feels right. No matter what they say or think. And don't let your friends set dates for you!
Got to go through the same thing. 4 days after my birthday. Brain dead after CPR. It's a hell of a ride after that but losing her made me realise that I had to take care of me first. That period of my life is still going on 4 years later. Back on school bench, moved 2 hours away, made new friends. I still miss her everyday, but the pain is gone and only positive energy came out of this. I hope you can go through the rough part and build an even better life and make her proud of you.
To kids with parents without any private insurance and to people on social security welfare. But as I remember, a couple of political parties are talking about a countrywide free dental care project. So maybe in a near future. But otherwise, not now to everyone. But in case of emergencies, yes. Or life threatening situations, and to some people with dental issues that gives them trouble to live a normal life. Like particularly crooked teeth and gums diseases for example. 🤷
The fact that healthcare isn't free is mind boggling. I love Canada.
