I just like making costumes and playing with wigs and makeup.

Hot take, but I think that was present to some extent since the beginning.

whether the car will protect you or end up crushing you. No time to look for a ditch (the usual method) when the tornado is right on you.

Get back in your car. It'll protect you from flying debris. If you happen to become the flying debris in your car, it's a coin toss 1/2

and end up putting you in a potentially fatal situation. Visibility (both windshield and radar)is the best way to stay safe while chasing6/6

stuck in one if you know what you're doing. What you wanna watch out for is hail and flying debris which can take out your windshield 5/?

right under the core of the storm. The most dangerous thing in chasing, surprisingly, is not tornadoes since it's really hard to get 4/?

if you end up in any part of the storm. This video is the perfect storm (lol) since (if I remember my terms correctly) they must've been 3/?

When you're chasing, the topography is usually so flat that you can see the storm (safely) from miles away. It gets incredibly dangerous 2/?

I went storm chasing with a bunch of meteorologists a few years back and learned that you should always be out of the actual storm. 1/?

and barely splash at all. It's always depicted that there's a dramatic struggle but it's usually very subtle and hard to catch. 2/2

As a former lifeguard, I was taught that it's hard for an untrained person to notice someone drowning since they just bob up and down 1/2

It's slippy, lol! Bunnies have a harder time on uncarpeted surfaces.

I think that's Mr. Bigglesworth, an adorable rabbit on Instagram.

Obligatory "don't put your rabbit in the water like that, it really stresses them out" comment. Please be kind to your bunny.

Neither prayer or medicine help. You need crusifixes and wolfsbane to keep Dracula away.

Proud (but not surprised) that this is in Germany. I would be even less surprised if it was in Berlin.

I go to college in Naperville. It's nice but I'm glad that I'm a commuter.

Pro tip: If it looks like the tornado is stationary, get out of there fast. That's because the tornado is actually moving directly towards you

Yep! The El Reno tornado had a peak forward speed of 55 mph (with wind speeds close to the surface of 295 mph). A true monster.
