I've got about 12k into it so far. Had no fuel system, and the electrical, brakes, ignition, were all shot. I've had to replace all of that.
This will be my first real build.

with forged pistons and crank, makes a ton of torque stock, and can make a lot more power by bolting on new parts alone. We could go back 2/
I'm not exactly disagreeing, but the 401 caring has a high nickel content compared to even the 360 which makes it stronger, comes stock 1/
