I went to grade school with this dude who currently likes Facebook posting content simping for RFK. I’m SO morbidly curious what he’ll say about this, lol
Idk, I really don’t, but I’m fervently hoping that as a result, they’ll give themselves the Darwin Award without taking too many of us out with them. (Probably wishful thinking with what’s going on with the EPA, FDA, and CDC, but a girl can dream.)

It sounds like selfishsarah is giving up, which is a bummer. But the rest of us don’t have to. I have to fight through the depression and despair every day, but I’m not giving up yet.
It sucks, but it still means they aren’t yet getting an increase in funding and hence more resources to expand and further terrorize the American people. $10 billion less in tear gas, weapons, vehicles, concentration camp facilities, LRSDs, and units on the ground to break apart families or gang up on and shoot American citizens in the street.

Yeah, I just heard that the FBI lead by Tulsi Gabbard raided Fulton County, Georgia, and took all its voter rolls and ballots from 2020. Usually, they would take *copies*. But they took the actual originals and did not leave the county with an inventory of what was taken. I’m still wrapping my head around it, but it sounds like they know his ratings are bad and they’re looking for ways to tamper with 2026 midterms. Sauce incoming:

Update, y’all! Sascha DID get Scrump in the butthole with a wooden stake in self-defense! Scrump had to be life-flighted outta there, too.

Yeah, it’s bad. I have only heard an excerpt from his audio testimony, and it’s BAD. I want to go back and listen, though, so I can honor him and the other survivors and victims and help work towards justice. <\3

Some of those that do say no, that at least some of the Gospels were written before 70 AD, think so because none of these gospels speak of the destruction as a past event. Nope, incorrect! Joseph took part in the census in the town of Bethlehem, Judea around the time of the birth. The family then fled and sought refuge in Egypt.

Yes, I’m aware. But I do think the nativity story recorded in Matthew covers a decent length of time. From my understanding, the family spent likely years in Egypt waiting for whenever Herod would die so that it would be safe for them to return for their homeland, but this span is covered in a few sentences. And it likely took the magi a while to travel across Eurasia from their home to where Jesus was.
He was from Judea. It was controlled by the Roman Empire at the time, which is who called for the census that resulted in his parents going to Joseph’s hometown of Bethlehem at the time. Herod was a puppet king of the Empire’s. He didn’t like the prophecy he heard about Jesus being a king, so he committed infanticide. To avoid this, his parents fled to Egypt, which was outside of Herod’s political reach. They were refugees there for Jesus’ early childhood until they learned that Herod had died.
