Yeah the term hacker is being used disingenuously here. They were a data retrieval freelancer hired by the plaintiffs. The use of the word 'hacker' and excessive info on where they do their work (a public space, it could be anyone hacking your data) is fearmongering.
Oh no need to apologise. I used to get them confused for years, it wasn't until Rossanne went off the deep end a few years ago it clicked. I was actually going to comment that yesterday to allay any discomfort but it felt superfluous.
That tracks with the new animated Predator movie which feels a lot like Heavy Metal so you're not supposed to think that much about it but they're basically orcs with spaceships.

A friend was telling me about a gay porn called To the Last Man that's equal parts cowboy porn and ranch war murder drama. The deaths are grizzly and it absolutely feels like someone had a film idea they asked the porn studio to help them produce.

I once bought a self-published graphic novel from a guy at a zine fair, it was the last one he had in print so he signed it with a thankyou message that said as much. When I got home I learned I already had a copy he had signed for his sister. I found that copy at a second hand store years before.
Even if they're not good people at least they're not hiding their bigotry and you can do your best to protect yourself or avoid them
I've been playing Potion Craft so I guess I'm making lots of explosive potions.
I went through both TNG and Voyager at the same time and the Borg were introduced to me out of order but it was terrifying. I saw their intro in TNG then the eps in Voy where they're passing through the wake of destructuon. It all ramped up to the Battle of Wolf 359 really well and made me so frightened of them. Then episodes after that they stopped being scary or got wrecked by the species from fluid space.
For clarification the first six months after quitting is when the lungs are most vulnerable to infection because there's a lot of healing already happening during that time.
