Hello imager. I invade the privacy of tardigrades.
very cool
I am in no way an expert so I couldn't give specific tips but here's what I did:To lose the fat i stayed in a calories deficit consistently and went for a 30-60 minute walk every day (this is what I did for months to end up with pic 2). To build the muscles I work out with dumbbells at home. Three heavy sets of ten reps and switching muscle groups every other day to give the ones I've trained time to recover. Be kind to yourself and take progress pics. They will help you see you're doing it.
I can go into any clothing store and know they have clothes that fit me. I can sit on chairs and not worry they break. I can go out and walk somewhere without being drenched in sweat and tired. Heck, I can even get up from sitting without grunting. Quality of life has improved so much it's insane.
I did not get surgery but my plan is to make sure I can keep this up for at least a year, make sure I don't start gaining fat or fall back into old habits. If I'm still good after the year has passed I will see if I need to look into surgical options for loose skin. Right not it hasn't even been a full year since I got the diagnosis so I'm still getting used to the new me.
When it came to the sugar part it was something I didn't have much choice with due to the diabetes. When it came to food I went hardcore with calory counting. Weighed everything, portioned it up so that I had my food for several days ready. I'm in no way an expert and I was fumbling around in the dark a lot in the beginning. One of the most important things I've learned it that you have to be kind to yourself. One step back is never a complete failure. Consistency is key. I believe in you.
What would you like to know? I'll gladly share!
I take it as a compliment you find my achievement big enough to not believe it! Thanks! :)
Go for walks it's all i did for months. Turn on a podcast and just have a nice walk every day.
Yessir!

Weigh all your food and really be diligent when counting calories.
Lost so much weight you turned metric! Amazing work well done!

It's there but considering how much weight I lost it could definitely be much worse. It does look less fun from the front though.
Didn't expect to have someone ask natty or not thus early :') thanks!

It looks notnas fun from the front so there's definitely sagging happening but considering the amount of weight lost I'm very lucky it's this good :)
Calories deficit consistently and going for walks. Lost tons of weight fast at the start then it slowly started to slow down. Lose slim is there but considering amount of weight lost I'm lucky it's not worse.

It takes some getting used to. I have had a beard for years and been overweight for about as long as I do and my self image hasn't quite caught up yet. I'm 36 BTW :)
