This is your regularly scheduled reminder that the train will *always* win.
Sometimes we have to do stuff that is scary to make things better: kitty may not enjoy a bath, but sometimes it has to be done.
Oddly enough, also the cat who most commonly Steps In The Wrong Spot and needs foot baths. :|
Sometimes you gotta. A few months ago my only-inside cat got fleas. So many that she was anemic. A bath was so very needed.
My boy hates baths and will try very hard to get away, but I feel that paw grabbing my shoulder--just the pads, no claws. I love my boy.
If you're wondering how someone could survive this, they often didn't! Surgery was scary and risky, but the alternative was usually scarier.
This is commonly called the Varnhem Humerus. We have earlier examples of surgery like this, dating back to 500CE!
Similarly, the people who's job it is to study this stuff today aren't stupid either. <3 This isn't something an amature has stated.
In this thread: a lotta angry boomers who are grumpy because a group of people experience something that they don't understand.
Additionally, one male can service many females -- so one doesn't usually keep an equal number of intact males and females.
Also, generally speaking, male animals are going to fight over mating rights or dominance and they can hurt or even kill each other.

It also needs *taking care of*.
(though if you are going to own one--and there are many legit reasons to do so, like venom labs, species preservation, etc...
as for cobras, well, yeah.
(lizards regularly lose fingers because of stuck shed. part of taking care of reptiles is making sure that everything comes off.)
A snake's shed is supposed to come off in one large piece. If there's shed *stuck* later, it can cause lethal health issues.
You're right, but the odds of trump pulling it out are TINY at this point. He's lost. But he's going to throw a fit about it. But he's lost.

Also, doing a small bit of research, dude is a nature photographer, and there was actually a lot of other people helping too, so...
I mean, if this is something that happens whenever the water level drops, it's easy to be prepared.
That varies from person to person I think. But if you're tired of always initiating, talk about it. Don't just... stop.
You can't change expectations on people without telling them. You just get people who are confused and sad.
and I convince myself that they hate me, and don't want to talk to me. Don't break our pattern. don't change things unless you want change.
When people suddenly stop texting me after they text me every day, I wonder if I did something wrong, if they're mad at me. I start to worry
I tend to get distracted and don't think about texting people. Or other things like eating, or peeing. Text me first.
Here's the problem with this. It assume's everyone is the same. I worry about bothering people, so I love it when they text me first.
I lived on a tiny island most of my life--30 miles at the longest. We thought we could land in Paris and be in N. Ireland a few hours later.
