Because he made billions extorting everyone while doing absolutely anything he wanted. He got away with it for decades. Got a slap on the wrists in mid 2000s. Only died while in jail during his former bestie's presidency under dubious circumstances... A bestie he called evil... Coming from him, that's something.

Well if it wasn't just straight up math like you see in school, then it's likely why you may have scored higher than you expected. Either way, the potential was likely there, but various factors meant that it's not reflected in your schooling at the time. It's unfortunate, but it can happen.

Another factor to consider... How shitty was your experience with math at the time? Unfortunately some teachers can't make it click for some kids, be it that what they say doesn't process, they can't get the kids to listen, or worse they're not good at teaching the subject. Were you appropriately engaged or just frustrated with the subject, for whatever reasons?

Being bad at any subject growing up can become a perpetual cycle, tragically, for a variety of reasons.

Well a question would be what sort of test did you take? IQ tests should have abstract components to it... Math isn't solely numbers, too. For example, a typical problem in testing is Towers of Hanoi. It's a recursion problem. It's math without numbers, however, at least when you're given the task. If you did well with it, your math subscrore likely would be higher despite doing something like thinking 5x5=24, as silly as it sounds.

Businessmen and eugenicists took the idea of an IQ test and bastardized the shit out of it. It's meant for diagnostic purposes, but it's been abused for various racial and socioeconomic biases, and as a business model whereby education winds up being work towards the next test, over and over.

NGL I thought this was always the popular ship and theory... Also didn't they have several calls where Ash says hi to one or the other, but coincidentally both were together at the time? Like if he ain't the step daddy... C'mon!

Eh... It's a problem stateside, yes, but it's worse in many other places. LGBTQ lifestyles are illegal and even met with violence in many parts of the world. They're not all Christian, but they're led by some form of religious zealotry, typically.

Christian Nationalism is a definite problem in the US, but let's not act like other parts of the world aren't extremely hostile to this as well. In many countries, LGBTQ is met with violent response. If anything, these folks in the States would probably want to regress back to this.
